A Little Bit About Me
I will try my best to give an accurate picture of myself. My name is Malik and I converted to Islam about eight years ago. I am Caucasian, six feet tall, light brown hair, blue eyes, and 155 pounds. I am thin for my height. I have lived in Houston almost all my life and grew up in a secular environment while going to public school. I strive hard to fulfill the tasks of Islam by making salat and recite Qur'an. I attribute my values to my parents, who brought me up with a strong sense of morality. I am close to my parents still even though they are not fond of my faith, we respect each other.

I am known for making cheesy jokes and I can get into trouble for making light of a serious situation at times. I am not always talkative person but I can continue a conversation that is started pretty well. I believe that I am patient and not quick to anger, however, I do get angry and frustrated sometimes. I spend a lot of my free time reading books on various topics. I like to go to the gym and taking a jog around the neighborhood. I I do some cooking and can learn more. I enjoy Indian food, Italian food, and Mexican food and I listen to a variety of music and like rock especially.

I have a Bachelor's of Arts a in History from the University of Houston. I have been working in the State's child welfare program for about three years. I am responsible for making sure children in foster care are safe and that all the paper work is done. My job can be stressful it just depends on whats going on. I will keep my salary confidential

What I Am Looking For
I hope to find someone dedicated to the deen so we can grow together in faith and also someone who is strong enough to handle the turns in life with hope and a positive attitude and also to help me out in my time of need. Next, the most important thing is a willingness to examine one's ego. I believe in equality in both house work and outside work. I hope that my future other is good at carrying a conversation to balance my shy self out. I also hope that she is career oriented but not to the point of sacrificing everything else. Cooking skill is an extra plus! I think staying in shape is important and I am telling myself that first!
